Welcome to the Taverham Newsletter website
Our hard copy of the newsletter is proudly delivered FREE to nearly 5000 homes in the Taverham Area.
The Taverham Newsletter was started in 1965 by the local churches. A small group under the editorship of Charles Knapp, the Rector of St Edmund’s decided to raise the profile of their churches and produce and deliver a Newsletter free of charge to all the residents of Taverham.
Now that you have found us online I hope you will find news of local activities and also a list all our advertisers so that you can support them.
The Newsletter which has been run entirely by volunteers since 1965 is still delivered free to homes and businesses in Taverham. We rely on over 100 volunteers every month to produce and deliver it. The income from advertisers funds the Newsletter and we are grateful to them for their contribution to the community as without them there would be no Newsletter.

As Marriotts Way is becoming busier, could we ask that cyclists use their bells to warn others of their presence as they are passing.
As we are all affected by Covid-19 (Corona virus) it will come as no surprise that the Newsletter will not be published until the restrictions are lifted.
Although the hard copy was not delivered you will see that April’s edition is now available below as are the photographs in the Gallery. Unfortunately, most of it is out of date which I am sure you will understand as the lockdown came into force after it had been printed.
I wish all readers and those connected to the Newsletter well and look forward to better times.
